The Seahawks added some depth to their defensive line with the signing of former third-round pick Damontre Moore.
The 24-year-old defensive end joined Seattle on Tuesday -- a day before Michael Bennett is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery in Los Angeles -- the team confirmed to seattlepi.com. The team has not yet announced a corresponding move to open up a spot for Moore on the team's 53-man active roster.
Listed at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, Moore was selected by the Giants in the third round of the 2013 draft following a stellar college career at Texas A&M.
