The Seattle Seahawks’ injury situation extends even to the practice squad.
Head coach Mike Macdonald revealed on Friday that preseason standout running back George Holani suffered an ankle injury against the New England Patriots.
“He got an ankle injury in the [Patriots] game,” Macdonald said. “I don’t remember what play it was, but he’s working on his ankle right now.”
The former Boise State star only played six special teams snaps last Sunday, including four kickoffs that went for touchbacks. In all likelihood, his ankle injury was caused on Dee Williams’ big punt return just before halftime.
