The Seattle Seahawks upset the Denver Broncos 17-16 on Monday Night Football to win their first game of the 2022 NFL Season. Russell Wilson in his return to Seattle was beaten by his former team after a terrific night from Geno Smith, Will Dissly, DK Metcalf and Jordyn Brooks. Safety Jamal Adams left the game with a groin injury and the status of his return is unknown, but Pete Carroll said Jamal Adams suffered a serious injury. The Seahawks also had sacks from Cody Barton and Uchenna Nwosu. With the win, the Seahawks advance to 1-0 and will play the San Francisco 49ers next week.
