RENTON -- Two of the Seahawks' top four 2016 draft picks might not be available for Seattle's regular-season opener versus the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 11.
Second-round defensive tackle Jarran Reed (toe/ankle) and third-round tight end Nick Vannett (ankle), both of whom suffered injuries in Seattle's second preseason game versus the Minnesota Vikings on Aug. 18, will not play in the Seahawks' preseason finale at Oakland, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Speaking after practice Sunday at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, Carroll hinted the pair might not make it back in time for the regular season.
