Seattle Seahawks first-round pick Byron Murphy II is dealing with an off-the-field matter.
Earlier this week, it surfaced through social media that the former Texas defensive lineman was accused by an OnlyFans model of owing them money. The alleged leaked private messages prompted a statement from Murphy’s agent, Ron Slavin, who claims that Murphy was one of multiple NFL players targeted in a blackmail scheme, and that the NFL and FBI have been notified.
“Recently, my client Byron Murphy was the victim of an extortion attempt from a text conversation that began and ended online,” Slavin’s statement read.
