Mychal Kendricks’ reunion with the Seattle Seahawks was brief. Just a couple of weeks after adding the veteran linebacker to their practice squad, the Seahawks released Kendricks on Tuesday. In addition to Kendricks, Seattle also released linebacker Michael Divinity, who had joined the team’s practice squad early in October.
Kendricks’ addition came at a time when Jordyn Brooks was out with an MCL sprain, while Cody Barton was dealing with an injury as well. With the linebacker corps in good health, the Seahawks were able to free up a pair of practice squad spots.
