Monday reports emerged that the Seattle Seahawks were set to resign nickel cornerback Jamar Taylor, a veteran who had spent training camp with the Hawks before failing to make the cut when the team trimmed the roster to 53. That, of course, led to the question of how the team would make space on the roster in order to fit Taylor in, with fans wondering whether Neiko Thorpe’s hamstring or Justin Britt’s knee injury suffered in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals could see either player land on injured reserve.
