Seahawks LB Dewey McDonald officially signed his exclusive-rights tender on Monday.
McDonald lasted over a year in Indianapolis before he was waived during the 2015 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots.
McDonald eventually landed with the Raiders towards the end of the season but was traded to the Seahawks last year for a conditional seventh-round pick coming out of the preseason.
He’ll need another year of service time before testing the open market as a restricted free agent.
In 2016, McDonald appeared in 14 games for the Seahawks and recorded eight tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
