The Seahawks have re-signed tight end Chase Coffman about a week after releasing him. The 6'6, 250 pound "move" style tight end may come as a little bit of depth as Luke Willson deals with a rib injury. Seattle has not yet announced a corresponding move.
Seattle now has four tight ends on their active roster as Coffman joins Luke Willson, Cooper Helfet, and Anthony McCoy.
Coffman was a third-round pick out of Missouri after a highly decorated college career in which he caught an astounding 246 catches and 30 touchdowns while winning the Mackey Award that year, awarded to the nation's top tight end.
