A new era of the Legion of Boom has begun. The Seahawks parted ways with legends of the organization. First, the swagger of the defense, cornerback Richard Sherman. Second, Jeremy Lane, who primarily played nickel, was released. Lastly, DeShawn Shead, who was on injury reserve for a majority of 2017, was released to make his best deal as well.
Despite these losses, the Seahawks have retained a consistent strong safety, who made the Chancellor neck injury not the final blow to last fall’s difficult year.

At the conclusion of a one year deal signed last march, Seattle inked Bradley McDougald for three years and $13.
