Eddie Lacy saw his first major success as a Seahawk on Monday morning, meeting the first monthly weight incentive in his one-year contract with Seattle.
The running back's agents tweeted that the 26-year-old weighed in at 253 pounds, two pounds lighter than the 255-pound goal he had to reach in May, earning him an additional $55,000 from his new team.
Lacy, who signed with the Seahawks in March after four seasons with Green Bay, earns that same bonus if he slims to 250 pounds in June through August and 245 pounds from September through December. Lacy joined the Seahawks on a one-year deal that could be worth up to $5.
