The Seattle Seahawks lost to the Los Angeles Rams 36-31 on Sunday. Though the Seahawks kept it close throughout, taking leads of 7-0, 14-7, and 21-20 before the fourth quarter, it’s fair to criticize the job done by Seattle’s defense, including that of defensive coordinator Ken Norton, which allowed long gains and key conversions that ultimately allowed the Rams to keep the drives going that would put away the Seahawks, it’s also fine to acknowledge the positive side:

The Seahawks were big time underdogs, playing on the road, against the NFC’s best or second-best offense, and without Earl Thomas or Bradley McDougald (for most of the game).
