So much for Nick Vannett being “ready to go” according to Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll.
Those were Carroll’s words earlier in the week when Vannett was listed on the injury report with a back problem. Now the third-year Seahawks TE is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders at Wembley Stadium in London, England. That leaves Darrell Daniels and newly promoted Tyrone Swoopes as the only TEs available for Seattle, so expect George Fant to line-up as a “tight end” (or extra offensive lineman), which is what we saw at time against the Los Angeles Rams.
