The Seattle Seahawks beat the Oakland Raiders 23-21 on Thursday, winning their third game of the preseason, which is now mercifully over. The game turned with 10:39 remaining in the game when defensive end Ryan Robinson had an interception-returned-for-TD to give the Seahawks a 9-8 lead. Running back Troymaine Pope added seven more points about five minutes later when he ran in another touchdown from five yards out.
Pope has been in a camp competition with Alex Collins, who scored the team’s final touchdown of the game from one yard out.
Pope had eight carries for 52 yards, an average of 6.
