There has been severe winter weather across the United States, but no region has been hit harder than the state of Texas. More than four million people were without power earlier this week and there have been at least 27 deaths attributed to the storms, which brought snow, wind, ice, and record-low temperatures throughout Texas.
While power is being restored and the weather will warm up significantly by early next week, there are still countless residents in need of clean water, power, and a hot meal.
Two Texas natives who have helped out the local communities in a big way are Seattle Seahawks defensive backs Quandre Diggs and Tre Flowers.
