The Seattle Seahawks had a heavy presence at "WE Day" in Seattle Wednesday.
The program is meant "to empower youth to be drivers of social change." Among the scheduled guests were Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and former wide receiver Ricardo Lockette. Quarterback Russell Wilson was not originally scheduled to attend, but he made a surprise appearance.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Doug Baldwin talked about leadership and praised his coach.
"The old man who was up here on stage just a few minutes ago with the gray hair, he’s a pretty good leader," Baldwin said, per The Seattle Times.
