Russell Wilson was brought down with an illegal horse-collar tackle and twisted his left knee awkwardly during Sunday's third quarter against the 49ers, forcing the Seahawks quarterback to miss one play before returning to the game.
Wilson was tended to by trainers after the Seahawks settled for a 33-yard field goal a few plays later, then replaced by backup quarterback Trevone Boykin on the ensuing possession after Bobby Wagner intercepted San Francisco quarterback Blaine Gabbert.
Wilson sustained a high-ankle sprain in the season-opening win against the Dolphins, but had yet to miss any significant playing time. He was in the midst of an efficient afternoon Sunday when he was brought down illegally by San Francisco linebacker Eli Harold.
