The right side of the Seattle Seahawks offensive line is banged up right now, so it’s not too much of a surprise that they’ve decided to promote rookie offensive tackle Elijah Nkansah from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. This announcement was made by the team on Saturday.
Nkansah is a 6’5”, 315 lbs rookie UDFA from Toledo who played both left and right tackle in college, but was exclusively a left tackle in his senior season. Obviously he’s an emergency option right now due to the uncertainty over the health of starting RT Germain Ifedi (groin), who will be a game-time decision for Sunday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
