News on safety Lano Hill’s health has not been encouraging, so the Seattle Seahawks have elevated Damarious Randall from the practice squad to the active roster.
Unsurprisingly, Hill is now on injured reserve after Pete Carroll hinted at it on Monday when he said that Lano’s back issues weren’t going away. That means both of Seattle’s original backup safeties are on the mend, with Marquise Blair definitely done for the season after tearing his ACL.
Formerly with the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns, Randall was signed a few weeks ago as safety depth and he was elevated to the active roster when the team played the Miami Dolphins.
