The returning of rookie Tyler Lockett led a Seahawks' special teams corps that was largely good in 2015 but had some spotty moments in coverage.
The Seahawks could hardly have hit more spectacularly on what was the most goal-specific pick of their 2015 draft — trading up to get Tyler Lockett to improve the return games.
Lockett returned a punt for a touchdown on his first attempt in a regular season game on his way to earning first team All-Pro honors as well an invite to the Pro Bowl.
The Seahawks hadn’t had a punt or kickoff return for a touchdown since 2012 (a kickoff return by Leon Washington) but got one of each this season from Lockett, who was the highlight of Seattle’s special teams efforts in 2015.
