Demetrius Knox’s rookie season with the Seattle Seahawks is already over.
The team placed the UDFA guard on injured reserve after he suffered what Pete Carroll termed as a “nasty” quad injury in the 4th quarter against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Knox’s injury occurred only two plays after quarterback Paxton Lynch was concussed by Holton Hill on a terrible helmet shot.
Replacing Knox’s spot on the active roster is Landon Turner, a 6’4”, 330-pound guard who went undrafted out of North Carolina back in 2016. Turner was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints, where he appeared in seven games and made one start, all in his rookie season.
