Having been held out of Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson is off the injury report altogether for Thursday’s must-win game against the Green Bay Packers.
Carson rushed for 40 yards on 8 carries against the Los Angeles Chargers before being removed due to that hip problem, and this opened up the door for rookie RB Rashaad Penny to shine the following week vs. the Rams, rushing for 108 yards on 12 carries and his first career NFL touchdown. It’ll be interesting to see how the carries will be split among Carson, Penny, and Mike Davis come Thursday.
