The Seattle Seahawks added eleven young players to the roster in the 2019 NFL Draft, including potential replacements for multiple veteran players who had recently departed, or were soon to be on their way out.
Those include the team looking for a Doug Baldwin replacement by drafting not just one, but three - DK Metcalf, Gary Jennings and John Ursua - wide receivers. The team used a second round draft pick on safety Marquise Blair, hopefully to help the secondary recover from the loss of Earl Thomas, first to injury during the 2018 season and then to the Baltimore Ravens in free agency.
