Tuesday evening reports emerged that the Seattle Seahawks were set to bring tight end Luke Willson back in the fold by signing him to the practice squad. Wednesday the team made that move official, along with the addition of another name that had spent time on the practice squad earlier this season.
In addition to Willson, Ray-Ray Armstrong provides depth for the defensive front seven. In addition, although Armstrong was already elevated from the practice squad to the active roster twice over the course of the 2020 season, he will be available as depth again once the postseason starts due to a joint decision between the NFL Management Council and the NFLPA reported Tuesday by NFL Insider Tom Pelissero.
