RENTON -- The Seahawks made a few status updates official Friday: Rookie cornerback Shaquill Griffin will not play Sunday at San Francisco, but left guard Luke Joeckel will suit up for the first time since week five.
Joeckel will play his first game alongside left tackle Duane Brown, who was acquired while Joeckel was recovering from knee surgery. The new offensive line will look like this (from left to right): Brown, Joeckel, Justin Britt, either rookie Ethan Pocic or Mark Glowinski, and Germain Ifedi.
"Luke made it through the whole week. He is ready to go," coach Pete Carroll said Friday.
