Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett reiterated over the weekend that he wants a new contract from the team.
Speaking at a Friday dinner in Bellevue to raise money to combat childhood obesity, the 29-year-old admitted he skipped Seattle’s first week of organized team activities (OTAs) to send a message about his dissatisfaction with the four-year, $28.5 million deal he signed last offseason.
“Trying to get the contract right,” Bennett told The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta.
