The Seattle Seahawks were apparently one day away from having two key members of their defense begin training camp with a contract holdout.
Speaking Thursday at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, defensive lineman Michael Bennett admitted that he wasn’t sure if he was going to report “up to the last day.” The 29-year-old has expressed unhappiness with the four-year, $28.5 million contract he signed with the Seahawks in March of last year.

Meanwhile, strong safety Kam Chancellor’s holdout, which will carry through at least Week 2 of the regular season, appears to have no end in sight.
