With the NFL draft officially in the rearview mirror, it’s time for snap judgments on how teams performed.
Of course, the real value of a draft can’t be judged in the immediate aftermath. A whole lot of people learned this fact in 2012 when the Seattle Seahawks were blasted for drafting, among others, Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner and Russell Wilson. However, that doesn’t stop “experts” from attempting to decipher selections while handing out NFL draft grades.
This weekend, the Seahawks added eight players through the draft. It’s impossible to say how effective those additions will be, but multiple national NFL reporters took their best guesses over the past 48 hours.
