Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett expressed his "unconditional solidarity" with Wednesday's women's strike in an essay for The Players' Tribune.
Bennett, never shy about expressing his opinions, voiced his support of "A Day Without Women," which coincides with International Women's Day and encourages women around the globe to take the day off work, avoid shopping for the day and wear read in solidarity with the strike.
Bennett wrote that his support goes beyond advocating for his wife Pele and three daughters, in whom he sees "the courage of Harriet Tubman, the patience of Rosa Parks, the soul of Ida B.
