As anticipated, the Seattle Seahawks have added former Miami Dolphins center Connor Williams to the roster.
Seattle made the move official on Sunday, shortly after announcing that Nick Harris had been traded back to the Cleveland Browns. The Seahawks signed Harris in free agency to compete for the starting center position alongside second-year player Olu Oluwatimi. When it emerged that the Seahawks were interested in Williams, it was evident how Seattle viewed the competition.
Full details of the contract have not yet been disclosed, but it’s been reported that Williams is on a one-year deal worth up to $6 million.
