Along with the earlier announced release of veteran cornerback Brandon Browner, the Seattle Seahawks made a few other moves today as they began the process of cutting their roster from 90 to 75 by the 1 p.m. Tuesday deadline.
The other moves Seattle made today were to waive fullback Kyle Coleman, receiver Montario Hunter and defensive end DeAngelo Tyson, waive as injured receiver Deshon Foxx and place defensive tackle Sealver Siliga on Injured Reserve.
The most significant of those moves involves Siliga, a free agent the Seahawks signed in the off-season hoping he could provide depth as a run0-tuffing tackle.
