Carroll said it was too soon to know if Willson would be back this week against Arizona but added the early indications point to a possibly quick recovery.
RENTON — Contributing to the Seahawks’ offensive issues in Sunday’s 23-17 loss to the St. Louis Rams was a depleted tight-end position that took a further hit during the game when Luke Willson left in the second quarter because of a concussion.
The good news is that Willson made “marked improvements’’ Monday, coach Pete Carroll said. Willson was injured on a hit by St. Louis cornerback Trumaine Johnson that drew a flag for unnecessary roughness.
