RENTON -- Seahawks left guard Luke Joeckel, who last week underwent arthroscopic knee surgery, is expected to miss at least 4-5 weeks, coach Pete Carroll said Tuesday.
Carroll deemed that an "optimistic" timetable and said the team will have a better idea of his status in about three weeks.
"We're going to see how it heals and how he comes back around," Carroll said. "He definitely needed to get some things cleaned up, taking care of. Everything went beautifully. He's very optimistic as well."
The fifth-year veteran participated on a limited basis during the summer, still recovering from a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee last October with the Jaguars.
