Behind the drama of Chris Carson’s ankle injury and J.D. McKissic’s breakout game against the Colts last weekend, the Seahawks’ forgotten running back, Eddie Lacy, had the best game of his career in Seattle to date.
After being inactive for the 49ers game, and getting no action against Tennessee, Lacy got 11 carries for a team-high 52 yards in Seattle’s 46-18 win over the Colts last Sunday.
Though eight of Lacy’s carries came late in the fourth quarter of the Seahawks’ blowout win, the game gave Lacy his first significant playing time of the year and he’s hoping that it leads to more work.
