Fans of the Seattle Seahawks are extremely excited about the potential for the team’s upgraded secondary to perform at a level far above that displayed by the group in 2019. Between Quandre Diggs replacing Tedric Thompson for a full season and the addition of Jamal Adams to the group, there is no question that expectations for the group far exceed those of recent seasons.
On the defensive line, though, it’s a completely different story. Many are worried about a group which is led by Bruce Irvin and Benson Mayowa, who in a combined fifteen seasons in the NFL have recorded fewer sacks than former Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril recorded during his career.
