Earlier this offseason, Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider pointed to Frank Clark as a candidate to help replace Bruce Irvin, who signed with the Oakland Raiders during free agency.
But is Clark making a complete position switch to linebacker?
As noted by Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, the team's official web site changed Clark's position from defensive end to linebacker, and he also has a new weight: 257. That's down 15 pounds from a year ago.
Irvin played a versatile role for the Seahawks. He was their SAM linebacker in base and shifted to right defensive end in nickel.
