Ryan was listed as questionable to return but came back to handle all punts and holds.
MINNEAPOLIS — During Sunday’s 10-9 wild-card win over the Vikings, Seahawks punter Jon Ryan tried to make something out of potential disaster in the first quarter when he took off running after a low snap had disrupted the timing of a kick.
Ryan, though, was upended as he headed up the middle of the field. Not only was he stopped short of a first down — giving the Vikings the ball at the Seahawks’ 29-yard line — but he also suffered a broken nose when he landed face first.
