The Seahawks entered Monday’s game against the Chicago Bears missing their best receiver and their top two linebackers, among others. Thankfully on Monday, even though Seattle lost, the team didn’t lose many more players.
Starting center Justin Britt injured his shoulder late against Chicago and was replaced by Joey Hunt. Coach Pete Carroll said that x-rays on Britt’s shoulder were negative, though. The problem is that Seattle still doesn’t know the extent of the injury or how much time Britt might miss.
At least Hunt knows the offense extremely well even if he hasn’t gotten much game play.
