The list of Seahawks inactives for Thursday night’s game against the Rams contained no real surprises but a couple of interesting notes.
The Seahawks made newly-acquired running back Kelvin Taylor inactive, meaning the Seahawks have just two tailbacks active for the game — Thomas Rawls and Alex Collins. If in a pinch, the Seahawks could maybe use Trevone Boykin at tailback, as they did in the Philadelphia game. And fullback Marcel Reece could also handle carries.
Still, it leaves the Seahawks an injury away from an interesting situation at tailback.
Among the active players is offensive tackle Garry Gilliam, who had not been active the last two games after having started the previous 27 games before being benched for the Carolina game Dec.
