Seahawks have three weeks to keep this franchise streak alive

The Seattle Seahawks have scored 393 points this season and just need 60 more to set a new franchise record for most regular season points scored.

What makes the 2020 feat particularly impressive is that not one touchdown has come as a result of a defensive or special teams score. We’ve seen three safeties scored but nothing more than that.

Seattle has proudly managed at least one D/ST touchdown every year of its existence, but it’s in serious jeopardy this year. Penny Hart came the closest to keeping the streak alive when he almost recovered the blocked punt against the New York Giants, but his left arm was out of bounds and thus no touchdown was awarded.
