Cortez Kennedy, former Seahawks defensive tackle and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has died. He was 48.
The news was first reported by TMZ Sports.
The Orlando Police Department confirmed the death Tuesday and said there is "nothing suspicious" to report at this time, though they have begun an investigation.
Drafted by Seattle with the third overall pick in 1990, Kennedy played all 11 of his NFL seasons with the Seahawks and was selected to eight Pro Bowls and three times named a first-team All-Pro. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.
