Since being drafted in the sixth round in 2012, Jeremy Lane has been an essential part of the Legion of Boom. He didn’t get much playing time his rookie year, only appearing in eight games, but did start three, thanks to absences from Brandon Browner and Walter Thurmond, and he proved capable. In 2013, he made his mark as a key special teams contributor while being stuck behind Walter Thurmond on the depth chart.
He broke out as the starting nickel corner for the Seahawks in 2014, even though he missed eight games, and was starting to be considered as one of the top slot corners in the NFL.
