Seahawks GM John Schneider confirmed during an appearance on ESPN 710 Seattle Wednesday that the trade rumors surrounding CB Richard Sherman are “real.”
“What you’ve seen lately in the news is real. On both sides,” Schneider said, per Sheil Kapadia. Schneider did, however, add: “I don’t know if anything would ever happen.”
Schneider mentioned that he’s already spoken to Sherman about trade buzz that has been circulating in recent weeks and mentioned that trade conversations started at the Scouting Combine a few months ago.
