RENTON — After making yet another trade to accumulate more picks as the final day of the 2019 NFL draft opened Saturday, the Seahawks then added to their receiver position, taking Gary Jennings of West Virginia at pick number 120, which began a dizzying sequence of picks in which Seattle added four players in about an hour.
It was a flurry of initial activity that ended with a pick that resonated across Lake Washington as Seattle selected UW linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven at No. 142 in the fifth round.
In between, the Seahawks grabbed guard Phil Haynes of Wake Forest at 124, also in the fourth round.
