Seahawks, Gabe Jackson agree to extension through 2023

The Seahawks have locked up a key piece in the team’s offensive line for the next three seasons.

Guard Gabe Jackson, who the Seahawks acquired from the Raiders earlier in the offseason, has agreed to a contract extension with Seattle. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal is for 3 years/$22.75 million. The new deal includes $16 million guaranteed, with $9 million of that guaranteed money being a signing bonus. Jackson’s previous deal extended through 2022, and had an AAV of $11 million/year. The new contract will help the Seahawks reduce Jackson’s cap hit in the coming years.
