The Seahawks’ offense on Sunday was, to use Doug Baldwin’s word, “ugly.”
Baldwin later amended his assessment to “ugly as hell” and then “very ugly.” Given a little longer to ponder, Baldwin might have summoned up some even more damning modifiers.
You get the picture. It’s not a pretty one, though Baldwin extolled the resiliency of the unit for fighting through the struggles and coming out with a 12-9 victory over San Francisco.
But let’s flip this thing around, while all of Seahawks fandom frets and fumes over an offense that has produced just one touchdown in eight quarters and leaves behind a litany of issues to iron out.
