Jordan Schultz of the Huffington Post reports that the Seahawks are focusing on free agent running backs Eddie Lacy and Adrian Peterson and remain committed to signing a veteran running back.
Seattle has already met with Lacy and is reportedly hosting Peterson for a visit today. Beyond that, they’ve scheduled meetings with Jamaal Charles and Latavius Murray in the coming days, so they’re clearly doing their due diligence on the available veteran running back options.
The running back market is still taking shape, as Danny Woodhead is the only one who has signed a contract up to this point.
