The Seattle Seahawks have suspended fullback Derrick Coleman indefinitely after he was arrested by Bellevue police for investigation of vehicular assault and felony hit-and-run incident at the 13400 block of Southeast 36th Street in Bellevue.
One patient was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure after the incident, according to the Bellevue Fire Department.
The 24-year-old Coleman was booked into King County Correctional Facility in Seattle at 1:20 a.m. Thursday and held without bail.
Bellevue Police Chief Steve Mylett will address Coleman's arrest at a 2 p.m. news conference.
Coleman joined the team as an undrafted free agent in 2012 after a college career at UCLA.
