The Seattle Seahawks have the money to keep Russell Wilson in Seattle for the entirety of his NFL career. Afterall, Paul Allen is the richest owner in the league, worth an estimated $17.5 billion.
The only wrinkle in the situation is that it appears Seahawks general manager John Schneider isn’t comfortable with allocating a large chunk of the salary cap to one player. It doesn’t matter the player is a young franchise quarterback responsible for taking the team to back-to-back Super Bowl’s and two in his first three years.
