For the second week in a row, the Seattle Seahawks have been forced to bring up a quarterback from the practice squad to fill in as the backup for Geno Smith.
Jake Luton has been elevated for the second and final time this season to play in case something happens to Geno Smith as Seattle awaits the return of franchise QB Russell Wilson from injured reserve. Luton will not be eligible to be elevated again in 2021, but that may not be an issue with the Hawks having claimed former Washington Husky QB Jake Eason off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts last week.
